I know I don’t owe anybody any explanations…

I know I don’t owe anybody any explanations, but the messages have been loud and clear lately, and I need to take a sabbatical from religious blogging. I’m still practising, still reading other blogs, but I’ve been given a directive from They Who Matter Most to re-acquaint myself with the “secular” joys I have in my life and get a better feeling for who I am.

I’ve been rather lucky to have relatively minimal drama as a polytheist blogger (being of such a stark niche religion probably helps), so don’t go assuming that anybody said something rude to me —if they’ve been saying rude things about me in places I don’t read, I neither know nor care— but this is all just the result from an extended slump in my motivations as a polytheist blogger, and the Gods finally decided to beat me with an obvious stick in order to get me out of it.

Due to the nature of this sabbatical, I can’t say how much (longer) it shall be, but obviously when I come back out of it, you’ll be the first to know. ;-)

If you still need a daily dose of Ruadhán, go check out my other blog, The Odd Mod Out. I can’t guarantee you that it’ll be of much interest, but considering how, mentally, I weave spiritual significance into almost everything I do, even when I’m not explicitly mentioning the Theoi on there, you might still see glimpses here and there.

Though I’ll miss your material here until you’re return, I’m definitely digging the mod blog!

Thanks!  I never know how much my other interests will overlap with people who read this one, and it’s nice to see feedback.
